The Proclaimers’ hit I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) has been removed by the UK government from the official Coronation playlist. According to the BBC, the move came after the Scottish duo were criticised for their anti-royal views.

At the time Charlie told the National: “I thought that guy spoke for me, and he speaks for loads of other people. Not just in Scotland, but right around the UK.”
